Southern Illinois doesn't get enough credit for its alcohol options. The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail is the greatest place around here if you want to taste the height of luxury in a five-star location. This isn't the only place you can buy quality drinks, as local breweries line the streets of Carbondale.
